Lydiate Leopards were unfortunate to lose at the weekend losing 2-1 against F9. Matches against this team had always been close so the leopards knew that they were in for a tough match.

It was a very even start with a competitive start to the match with few chances. F9 took the lead from a well taken strike which keeper Noah had no chance to save. Lydiate rallied and equalised shortly after with James Sweeney scoring after a the F9 keeper had made a save from a leopards shot. The game was still end to end and close before half time F9 took the lead again.

Leopards started the second half well and were the better side playing some lovely football. They created a number of chances with Thomas, Harry and James S going close. Info they couldn’t take their chances and were unable to equalise before the end of the match.

Kuavo man of the match was James Sweeney for another strong performance, scoring the goal, creating chances and strong in defence.
