Lydiate battled to an entertaining and action-packed 0–0 draw against East Liverpool Leverkusen. Despite the scoreline, it was anything but a dull stalemate — the game was end-to-end with impressive saves from Arlo and some outstanding defensive teamwork across the pitch.

Going forward, Lydiate created plenty of chances, with James, Harry and Thomas all going close to breaking the deadlock.
